Aiphone has updated its GT system which offers a cost-effective solution for large multi-tenant buildings as well as smaller scale multi-tenant projects such as education campuses and healthcare environments.
The manufacturer claims that installing and designing a GT system for any building requiring communication for up inside stations requires just two wires for audio and two more for video.
Supporting up to 5,000 rooms, 480 entrances and 96 concierge stations, the GT system offers the option of handset or hands-free communication. Entrance stations are equipped with high performance, wide angle PTZ cameras to enable tenants to have clear visibility of visitors. Both room stations and entrance stations can incorporate high quality induction loops to assist those who are hard of hearing.
All GT system models are backed up by a three year warranty policy.
Recent improvements include a redesign of the door station to include a large scrolling display, use of NFC (Near Field Communication) programming via a smartphone, and the use of IP adapters to link multiple blocks with a common guard station or control room.
The GT system entry panels are equipped with a wide angle PTZ camera with a pan range of 170 degrees and a tilt range of 100 degrees.
