IDIS is celebrating its 20 year anniversary by recognising two decades of innovation. Founded in 1997 by experts in computer science and artificial intelligence, IDIS has since grown to become the largest video surveillance manufacturer in South Korea and a leader in industry innovation by introducing products such as its flagship DirectIP offering, a plug-and-play solution that eliminates the complexity of installing and operating networked surveillance systems.
The manufacturer is celebrating the anniversary at IFSEC 2017, and will also be showing a complete line-up of H.265 IP cameras including the new 12MP Super Fisheye and network video recorders (NVRs) including the DR-8364 NVR which features 900Mbps throughput, dual PSU for redundancy, IDIS Smart Failover technology and H.265/H.264 performance, which provides up to a 90 per cent saving in storage capacity according to the company.
Also on show will be the IDIS LightMaster, a low-light camera that provides enhanced visibility when compared to standard industry offerings using defogging and light-enhancing settings through the IDIS Center VMS. This will be shown alongside IDIS Smart UX Controls.
Ahead of the exhibition, Brian Song, Managing Director, IDIS Europe stated, ‘The entire IDIS Europe team is excited to be returning for our fifth appearance at IFSEC International, which signals our continued commitment to support and grow our global customer base. Our presence this year is also very special as we will celebrate our 20 year anniversary and demonstrate why IDIS has been at the vanguard of video surveillance for the last twenty years.’
