Pyronix has announced the launch of the EURO 280 control panel, which is claimed to be faster than previous models. The Grade 3 solution has a number of features which the manufacturer claims makes it future-proofed.

The panel offers customisation as it does not come with a keypad or modem. These can be separately selected and purchased.

The new processor delivers greater speeds than the previous EURO 280, and also boasts additional usability, adaptability and expandability.

A dual BUS allows the EURO 280 greater convenience by enabling devices to be added in two separate areas. For example, one BUS may cover half of a building, with the other BUS covering the other half. Alternatively, the dual BUS can be utilised to cover shops, living quarters, outbuildings, etc.. If one BUS is lost, all devices on the other remain operable.

Due to the new generation EURO 280, the EURO 162 and 162M have been discontinued with immediate effect.
