Razberi Technologies has launched CameraDefense, a cyber security element which will be included free of charge with ServerSwitch IQ appliances for a limited period. CameraDefense applies camera device hardening, secure appliance architecture and threat monitoring. It can block unauthorised IoT devices, secure access to cameras and protect against cyber attacks. It adds isolation of the camera network with encryption-ready hardware and integrated virus and malware protection to deliver real-time protection and alerts.
Hackers will not stop searching for an entry point to a network, and surveillance cameras and other security devices installed to protect and lower risk can actually offer a window of opportunity for cyber criminals. CameraDefense has been designed to protect the surveillance system and to stop access to the IP network and critical data.
Razberi CameraDefense automates and scales cyber security efforts in three key pillars. First, it hardens cameras automatically so they don’t become a liability. Second, the capabilities of Razberi ServerSwitchIQ isolate cameras in a distributed appliance architecture and set
up a VLAN. Finally, it, delivers on-going health monitoring for proactive alerts, allowing users to act before it is too late.
CameraDefense provides encryption-ready hardware and uses artificial intelligence by embedding CylancePROTECT to protect against antivirus and malware threats. It can manage security alerts with Razberi VyneWatch, Milestone XProtect and other certified VMS products. It also uses machine learning to deliver dynamic threat protection.
