Vicon’s new product guides are now available in print and electronic format. The publications recognise that 2017 is the manufacturer’s 50th Anniversary and coincides with the launch of its new video management software, Valerus.
The updated guides provide customers with a clear overview of Vicon’s range of products. They also provide a comprehensive introduction to key features and benefits, making it easier to select the products that suit exact needs.
Vicon’s new VMS, Valerus, is claimed to be an easy-to-install and operate video solution built on open standards for optimised interoperability. Its thin client architecture and central licencing are benefits for installers and integratorsd. Based on years of experience in the security market, the new platform supports conventional network systems and is ready for cloud-based solutions.
Three licence levels – Try (which is free-of-charge but has limitations), Core and Pro – are designed to handle all types of security demands. The simple and cost-effective pricing model combined with optional upgrade protection ensures long-term value. A single licence activates all Valerus components.
The published guides cover the Express plug-and-play range, Vicon’s series of cameras and the ViconNet platform, as well as Valerus.
