The Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) has announced the appointment of Paul Phillips as its new Chief Executive. Paul brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role, having demonstrated an exceptional track record during his tenure with SSAIB.
Paul Phillips joined SSAIB in 2017 as the Compliance Manager, showcasing his dedication and proficiency within the organisation. His commitment to excellence and his significant contributions led to his appointment as General Manager in 2022, where he assumed responsibility for the day-to-day operations of SSAIB. Paul takes on the Chief Executive position following the retirement of the previous Chief Executive, Alex Carmichael.
With a background as an electronics engineer, Paul Phillips accrued invaluable industry experience while working with security equipment manufacturers from 1994 until his move to the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) in 2009.
