TAZAAR, a UK-based manufacturer specialising in asset tracking and product traceability, has entered a new phase of growth as its GPS-enabled solutions gain traction with industry professionals. The company has unveiled a redesigned website that highlights how its GeoTag and AssetID tools are being adopted as practical solutions for protecting high-value mobile equipment and complying with upcoming regulations.

Founded with the goal of addressing an industry-wide challenge – how to reliably monitor and secure valuable, portable technology – TAZAAR has moved beyond proof-of-concept and is positioning itself as a critical partner for organisations that need visibility and control over their assets.
Lisa Stafford, CEO of TAZAAR, explained:
“TAZAAR has evolved rapidly as we proved how we could solve an industry-wide problem. At PLASA London 2024, we showcased a working prototype, which was then field-tested by event professionals. Their feedback helped us refine our tools, leading to a second-generation product that was introduced at ISE 2025. We will return to ISE in 2026 with a full range of GeoTag GPS solutions. Our new website reflects that journey and provides a clearer picture of who we are and what we can offer.”
For the physical security sector, TAZAAR’s solutions address a pressing issue – the growing need for reliable tracking of expensive, mobile assets in industries such as events, broadcasting, construction and facilities management. Equipment theft and loss remain costly risks, while operational efficiency depends on knowing where resources are at all times. TAZAAR’s GeoTag line delivers GPS-enabled visibility, while AssetID supports compliance with evolving European Union regulations.
One area where this is particularly relevant is the forthcoming EU Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirement. All manufacturers selling electronic equipment into the European market will soon be obliged to provide detailed traceability information to support compliance, recycling and reuse. Stafford noted:
“Some people see regulatory demands as a chore, but the protection DPP can offer consumers, and the transparency it provides for product reuse and recycling, is critical. Our AssetID solution ensures compliance while also delivering features that add value for both manufacturers and end-users.”
The redesigned website is also being used as a resource hub for distributors and resellers, many of whom are now trialling partnerships with TAZAAR across Europe. Clear explanations of how the technology works, along with regulatory guidance, are helping new partners quickly integrate the products into their offerings.
“When people understand the purpose of AssetID and GeoTag, they quickly see the value these tools bring to their operations,” Stafford said. “Our new partners are finding the content invaluable as they explore how to help clients overcome the industry’s biggest challenges.”
For the physical security industry, the significance of TAZAAR’s progress lies in its ability to combine regulatory compliance with operational protection. High-value, serviceable electronics – whether deployed in live events, critical infrastructure or large commercial environments – are not only business-critical but also highly vulnerable to theft, misplacement and misuse. By embedding traceability and monitoring into the lifecycle of these assets, TAZAAR’s solutions provide both deterrence and practical intelligence.
With its technology already being recognised as a standard for professional equipment tracking, TAZAAR is positioning itself at the intersection of security, sustainability and operational efficiency. As new regulatory requirements take effect and the demand for asset protection grows, its solutions are expected to become increasingly relevant to manufacturers, service providers and end users across multiple sectors.
