TDSi has released GARDiS Pro Version 3.1, the latest evolution of its access control management software. The new version focuses on deeper integration, enhanced biometric security, and intelligent credential management – setting a higher standard for flexible, future-ready access control solutions.
Building on the capabilities introduced in Version 3 earlier this year, GARDiS Pro v3.1 strengthens both the operational and analytical aspects of access control. It introduces support for the Digitouch Biometric Reader, enabling fast and cost-effective fingerprint authentication, while also enhancing administrative efficiency through automatic credential status updates and customisable event log retention. These updates aim to improve both compliance and system performance for organisations managing high-security environments or large, multi-site operations.
Tina Baker, Software Development Manager at TDSi, explained the importance of this latest release: “We are excited to deliver a version of GARDiS Pro that makes tangible improvements to how users operate and scale their systems. Whether managing a single secure facility or a multi-tiered enterprise, GARDiS Pro v3.1 offers greater control, visibility, and peace of mind.”
Among the most notable updates is new integration with Nettla, enabling facility bookings to automatically trigger secure, time-limited access permissions. This feature reflects a growing trend in smart building management, where system interoperability is essential to maintaining both efficiency and security.
Version 3.1 also brings refinements that enhance situational awareness and monitoring precision. Enhanced expander and door status reporting, lift button press logging, and support for accented characters expand the system’s usability in multilingual and multi-site deployments. Additionally, the introduction of a Duress PIN alert function provides discreet protection for personnel facing potential security threats.
Under the hood, GARDiS Pro v3.1 benefits from multiple performance enhancements that deliver improved responsiveness and system stability, ensuring a smoother experience for administrators and operators alike.
This release follows the foundation laid by GARDiS Pro Version 3, which brought major improvements including advanced reporting tools, streamlined setup and licensing workflows, new multi-factor authentication options, and an upgraded user interface. Together, these developments demonstrate TDSi’s continued investment in developing intelligent, interoperable access control platforms capable of adapting to evolving customer needs.
GARDiS Pro v3.1 is available now through the TDSi Product Registration site. Installers and system administrators are encouraged to upgrade to take advantage of the enhanced functionality and improved system performance.
