Abloy UK announces SMARTair training course

by Geny Caloisi
Abloy UK has launched a new free SMARTair training course at its Digital Access Solutions Academy, helping installers understand the wireless access control system.

With a particular focus on new digital solutions and ecosystems, Abloy UK’s Digital Access Solutions Academy showcases, works with, installs and tests Abloy’s extensive range of products.

With SMARTair, Abloy UK has expanded its training offering by offering users different access control management levels with one wireless system. Security and operation efficiency can be improved with SMARTair.

The intuitive SMARTair access control software provides a detailed security overview of a building, including who enters when, where and how. SMARTair consists of three main elements: intuitive management software, SMARTair locks, and credentials.

The course is designed for Abloy’s partners to understand the portfolio of products under the SMARTair umbrella and its integrated systems. At the end of the course, installers will have confidence in commissioning and installing SMARTair systems.

The course will run on Wednesdays between 9.30 am and 3 pm and is free of charge, with lunch provided, as well as a certificate of attendance. There are slots available from now until December.

  • During the course, attendees will learn:
  • Where SMARTair products can fit in the market and the benefits of access control
  • What the most common hardware components are in the SMARTair range
  • What the SMARTair system architecture looks like
  • How to integrate Abloy’s wireless access control range
  • How to configure and commission using SMARTair TS1000 software
  • How can Abloy support you with winning more business

Johnathon Dale, Digital Access Solutions Training Manager, said: “We are really excited to launch the new SMARTair course at our Digital Access Solutions Academy, and are keen to welcome installers to learn more about the system and how it can benefit them and their customers.”
