Ajax unveils 55 new devices at its seventh Special Event

by Geny Caloisi

Ajax Systems has lifted the lid on its biggest showcase yet, revealing 55 new devices at the seventh Ajax Special Event, Dare to be first. Broadcast globally on 21 November and supported by offline gatherings in 35 countries, the presentation highlighted where the company sees the next major shifts in professional security.

This year’s theme pushed the conversation beyond incremental updates. The headline announcement was the industry’s first wireless Grade 3 intrusion system, built around the new Superior Jeweller technology and supported by a full suite of detectors, keypads and control options. Ajax confirmed availability for Q4 2025.

Video also played a central role. The expanded Baseline range introduced motorised varifocal HLVF cameras and new NVRs with dual-drive capability, while the Superior line stepped forward with hybrid-illumination models, upgraded sensors and AI-powered NVRs capable of handling up to 32 channels. Baseline products are expected early 2026, with Superior following in Q1.

For large projects, the new Superior MegaHub drew significant attention. Its capacity for 999 devices and Grade 3 compliance positions it as a single-panel solution for major commercial sites. Ajax also introduced the Superior Hub Hybrid 2, doubling system capacity for installers moving into larger facilities.

Perimeter protection also received a notable upgrade. Ajax introduced two new curtain-type outdoor detectors for the Baseline line: Curtain Outdoor Mini Jeweller for tight, high-risk access points, and CurtainCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Jeweller, the first Ajax outdoor curtain detector with built-in photo verification. Both will be available to order in Q4 2025.

Other updates included a long-life version of Hub BP Jeweller for off-grid installations and continued expansion of Ajax Services, giving PROs more ways to deliver recurring value through connectivity, storage and verification tools.

The company also confirmed the launch of EN54 Line, a fully wireless EN 54-certified commercial fire system designed for rapid deployment and remote management. Wider availability is planned for early 2026.

With 13 speakers, 93 featured products and a growing global audience, this year’s Special Event underlined Ajax’s intention to keep stretching the boundaries of what a unified security ecosystem can deliver.
