Avassa Achieves ISO/IEC 27001 Certification for Edge Platform Security

by Geny Caloisi

Avassa has announced its ISO/IEC 27001 certification, reinforcing its commitment to information security across its distributed edge application management platform. The certification validates the company’s internal processes, risk management and data protection practices against internationally recognised standards.

Designed with edge-native security in mind, the Avassa platform includes features such as mutual TLS encryption, certificate rotation, strict authentication, and centralised secret management. ISO 27001 compliance provides third-party assurance that these security measures meet rigorous global benchmarks.

“Achieving ISO 27001 is a testament to our commitment to secure, resilient operations at the edge,” said Carl Moberg, CTO and co-founder of Avassa.

The certification supports Avassa’s ongoing work with customers in sectors like retail, automotive and industry, where verifiable, autonomous edge security is critical.
