Bosch Building Technologies has launched the AVENAR IO 4000 series, a new range of input/output modules designed to enhance the connectivity and adaptability of fire safety systems. The first in the series, the FLM-430-I2M1, is a compact, multi-application interface module that integrates seamlessly with the AVENAR fire detector 4000 series.
Interface modules play a crucial role in connecting fire alarm systems with essential building functions, such as fire dampers, doors, and signalling devices. By enabling real-time diagnostics and control, the AVENAR IO 4000 series ensures a faster and more coordinated response in emergencies.
The FLM-430-I2M1 is designed for versatility, allowing integration with various fire safety functions, from monitoring sprinklers to controlling fire doors. Its configurable software ensures compatibility across different applications, while a fail-safe mechanism maintains safety standards in case of power or communication failures. The module’s compact design allows for easy DIN rail installation, reducing both space requirements and installation time.
Built for demanding environments, the FLM-430-I2M1 supports cable lengths of up to 1,000 metres, making it ideal for large industrial sites, healthcare facilities, and high-traffic commercial spaces. Its advanced damper control, energy-efficient design, and ability to withstand electromagnetic disturbances ensure reliable performance in complex settings.
With the AVENAR IO 4000 series, Bosch continues to push the boundaries of intelligent fire safety, delivering solutions that enhance protection, efficiency, and scalability across diverse industries.
