The entry process is now open for the Fire and Security Matters Awards 2025, an event celebrating the fire and security sectors’ best innovation, excellence, and impact. This annual awards ceremony, recognised as the largest of its kind in the industry, brings together top professionals and teams to highlight outstanding achievements across a broad range of categories.
The 2025 awards follow a record-breaking year, with over 320 entries and a sold-out ceremony attended by upwards of 800 guests. Once again, entering the awards is completely free, offering a unique opportunity for individuals, teams, and organisations to gain recognition for their contributions to the field. Whether it’s for an exceptional product, a standout project, or exemplary service, the awards serve as a prestigious platform to shine a spotlight on the industry’s leading names and innovations. FireQual proudly stands as the Headline Sponsor for the event.
Award winners will be revealed at a black-tie gala on 5 June at Coventry’s CBS Arena. Hosted by the award-winning comedian and actor Omid Djalili, the evening promises to be both entertaining and inspiring, gathering top talent from across the industry.
Categories are divided into security, fire, and joint fire and security sectors, providing targeted recognition across diverse areas.
The security categories include accolades such as: Security Manufacturer of the Year, Security Guarding Company of the Year, Security Innovation of the Year, and Security Industry Woman of the Year.
Meanwhile, the fire categories recognise achievements such as: Fire Safety Manufacturer of the Year, Fire Safety Team of the Year, and Fire Industry Woman of the Year.
Joint categories, catering to both sectors, include awards like ESG Company of the Year (with separate subcategories based on turnover), Distributor of the Year, and Campaign of the Year.
Entrants have until 28 March 2025, at 23:59 pm, to submit their entries, and completing the process takes only a few minutes. This is a valuable opportunity to highlight exceptional accomplishments within the fire and security sectors.
Fire Safety Matters magazine is published by Western Business Media Ltd – the publisher behind Security Matters, Professional Security Installer (PSI Magazine), Benchmark Magazine, and Risk Xtra in the security sector.
