Experience Hikvision Innovation First-Hand at the October Insight Roadshow

by Geny Caloisi

This October, Hikvision will once again be hitting the road, bringing its Insight Roadshow 2025 to five venues across the UK and Ireland. The programme has been designed with flexibility in mind: visitors can join afternoon sessions on Day One or opt for a morning slot on Day Two, making it easy to fit the event into a busy week. Wherever you attend, you can expect a mix of live demonstrations, sector-focused presentations and the chance to speak directly with Hikvision specialists.

The real draw of these events has always been the demonstrations. Rather than listening to theory, visitors get to see cameras, analytics and integrated systems working in real time. This year will be no different. Attendees will be able to test the latest technologies, explore new product launches and understand how solutions perform in real-world scenarios. Alongside the hands-on sessions, experts will talk through how these technologies apply in different verticals – from retail and healthcare to education and transport –  helping visitors connect the innovations with their own professional challenges.

Conversations are another key part of the format. Lunch sessions on both days are designed for networking, giving professionals a chance to share experiences and compare approaches in an informal setting. For many, these exchanges with peers and Hikvision’s technical team prove as valuable as the product sessions themselves.

The schedule is straightforward. Day One begins at noon with lunch, followed by demos and presentations until 4 pm. Day Two opens at 9 am with morning sessions and concludes with a networking lunch at midday.

The tour starts at Old Trafford in Manchester on 8–9 October, moves to Stoke Place in Buckinghamshire on 13–14 October, and then continues to Hamilton Park in Scotland on 15–16 October. Dublin’s Croke Park, in Ireland, will host the roadshow on 20–21 October before the series wraps up at Newmarket Racecourse in Suffolk on 27–28 October.

Looking back at previous roadshows gives a sense of what makes them stand out. Past events have introduced landmark technologies such as ColorVu cameras and intelligent traffic solutions, often giving professionals their first look at new product releases. The demonstrations have consistently impressed – whether through ANPR, facial recognition or interactive mapping that shows cameras and alarms directly on site plans. These features come alive in the roadshow setting, making it easier to see how they could be applied day-to-day.

Equally important is the strong focus on applications. By highlighting sector-specific use cases and inviting feedback, Hikvision has made these events practical and collaborative, rather than just a showcase. Installers, consultants and business operators leave with actionable insights and best practice advice they can apply straight away.

The interactive nature of the roadshows has also built a sense of community. Open Q&A sessions, live demos and opportunities to explore partnership programmes like VASP have made the events more than just product briefings. They’ve become meeting points for the industry – places to test ideas, compare experiences and shape future projects.

As the 2025 series approaches, one thing is clear: the Hikvision Insight Roadshow is about more than technology. It’s about connecting people, solutions and ideas to create smarter, safer environments. If you want a first-hand look at the innovations shaping the next chapter of security – and the chance to speak directly with the people behind them – the October roadshows are well worth a place in your diary.
