Gallagher Security has joined forces with Advancis, one of the world’s leading independent providers of security and building management software, to deliver greater control and flexibility for organisations managing complex environments.
At the heart of the collaboration is the integration of Gallagher’s Command Centre access control platform with Advancis’ WinGuard open integration platform. Together, the two solutions create a unified interface that enables organisations to streamline operations, strengthen resilience, and enhance situational awareness across multiple systems.
“Partnering with Advancis demonstrates our dedication to building strong, strategic alliances that give our customers greater flexibility and control,” comments Spencer Marshall, Executive Vice President – Europe at Gallagher Security. “Advancis’ open integration approach complements Gallagher’s own commitment to interoperability, and together we can offer end customers a powerful, tailored security ecosystem. This is another example of how Gallagher is expanding its presence in Europe by partnering with market leaders who share our vision of customer-led innovation.”
Advancis, with more than three decades of experience as a vendor-neutral software house, is recognised internationally for its role in unifying security, building, and communication systems. Its WinGuard platform connects over 550 different systems into a single interface, supporting industries where high levels of security and operational efficiency are critical – from finance and healthcare to logistics, transport, and data centres.
The new partnership allows WinGuard to integrate directly with Gallagher Command Centre via a secure, TLS-encrypted REST API connection. This real-time synchronisation gives operators the ability to monitor and control essential access control functions, including doors, alarm zones, access zones, and inputs/outputs.
“Integrating Gallagher Command Centre into WinGuard extends the end users’ ability to unify diverse systems in a single interface,” explains David Teppe, Head of Strategic Alliances at Advancis. “Through secure, real-time synchronisation, operators can monitor and control key access functions while benefiting from enhanced visibility, faster alarm handling, and streamlined workflows. Together with Gallagher, Advancis ensures a reliable, future-ready integration that simplifies operations and strengthens security for our customers.”
Looking ahead, Advancis will be among the Technology Partners featured in the Gallagher Hub at Integrate 2025 on 9 October. Alongside eight other partners, the company will showcase how integration is shaping the future of security management and provide insights into the latest developments across the sector.
