i-PRO has appointed Gerard Figols to its Board of Directors. He joined the company in October 2021 and has held several roles supporting i-PRO’s global strategy and regional development efforts.
Over the past three years and nine months, Figols has contributed to the company’s international growth, working closely with teams across different markets. His new board-level appointment reflects i-PRO’s ongoing focus on expanding its leadership structure to support continued innovation and global operations.
In a public statement shared via LinkedIn, Figols said he was “extremely honoured and proud” to be elected as a Director, and expressed his intention to continue learning from global colleagues while contributing to i-PRO’s overall success. He also extended thanks to Masato Nakao, President and CEO of i-PRO, citing his trust and leadership.
The appointment comes as i-PRO continues to invest in AI-based edge technologies and open-platform systems, positioning itself to meet evolving market demands in the professional security sector. The addition of Figols to the board is expected to support these initiatives by strengthening the company’s strategic decision-making at an executive level.
i-PRO was established as an independent company in 2019, following its separation from Panasonic. Since then, it has focused on building an agile, innovation-led culture while maintaining a strong presence in key global markets.
