
Gunnebo Entrance Control is strengthening its North American presence with the opening of a new manufacturing facility in Duncan, South Carolina. This facility more than doubles the company’s production capacity and reinforces its commitment to localised manufacturing, aiming to enhance customer-focused solutions and support growth in the region.
The Duncan site is a key part of Gunnebo’s strategy to bring manufacturing closer to the markets it serves. By reducing lead times and improving supply chain efficiency, the new facility is designed to help Gunnebo deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions that address the needs of its North American customers.

Throughout 2025, Gunnebo plans to expand its U.S. manufacturing capabilities to include Security Doors, Full-Height Turnstiles, and Retail Gates. This approach is intended to strengthen supply chain resilience and support the company’s mission to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific needs of the North American market.
