Hikvision is presenting its new generation of traffic management solutions powered by large-scale AI at GITEX Global 2025, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13–17 October. The company’s showcase in Hall 25, Booth H25-E50, highlights how advanced artificial intelligence can reshape road safety, mobility, and infrastructure efficiency.
The new product line builds on Hikvision’s recently announced Guanlan large-scale traffic AI model. Trained on millions of real-world traffic scenarios – including adverse weather, low-light, and complex junction environments – Guanlan enhances the accuracy and adaptability of traffic monitoring systems. This innovation underpins a range of newly released devices, including checkpoint and compliance cameras (iDS-TCV9(C)00-HI, iDS-TCV9(C)07-HIR), incident detection cameras (iDS-TCS802-HS, iDS-TCS907-HIR, iDS-TCS917-HI, iDS-TCS900-HI) and servers (iDS-TSS500-H/16, iDS-TSS300-H/04).
According to Hikvision, these models deliver significant performance improvements. In checkpoint applications, the large-scale AI reduces false alarms for driver seatbelt and mobile phone detection by up to 75 %. In incident detection, such as identifying stopped vehicles or fallen objects, false alarms are cut by about 60 %. The servers allow existing camera networks to be upgraded with the new AI models, offering cost efficiency and flexibility for city operators and system integrators.
Hollis Li, Hikvision’s Intelligent Traffic Product Director, said: “Large-scale traffic AI models represent a new level of capability. By expanding training data to reflect the unpredictability of real roads, we can provide solutions that are more reliable and better adapted to real-world complexity.”
At GITEX, Hikvision is positioning these developments within its broader AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) strategy, where large-scale domain-specific models are central to future innovation. The company’s exhibition features demonstrations of how Guanlan-powered systems can support smarter intersections, dynamic traffic enforcement, and improved situational awareness for transport authorities.
The timing of the launch coincides with growing demand for intelligent traffic management across the Middle East, where cities are investing heavily in smart mobility and safety infrastructure. By integrating scalable AI with existing networks, Hikvision aims to make its solutions accessible to municipalities seeking both performance and sustainability in urban transport management.
