Electronic wired and wireless intruder alarm equipment manufacturer HKC has reinforced its leadership team with the appointment of Pille Murgelj as Head of Buying and the promotion of Ian Moore to Head of Technical, further streamlining its operations across the UK and Ireland.
Pille brings over 15 years of experience in the electronics supply chain, having held senior roles in international manufacturing and consulted for a fast-growing supply chain start-up. At HKC, she will focus on procurement strategy, inventory optimisation, and supplier relationships, aligning processes with the wider ASSA ABLOY Group’s strategy. Her role aims to enhance efficiency and ensure a resilient supply chain to support HKC’s continued growth.
Ian, who has been with HKC since 2009, has over 25 years of industry experience. Initially part of the technical support team, he played a crucial role in product development, leveraging customer feedback to refine HKC’s offering. His leadership as Product Manager contributed to the launch of innovations such as the 4G-WiFi Communicator in February 2025. Now, as Head of Technical, he will oversee customer support, product testing, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure HKC’s solutions remain robust and installer-focused.
On her appointment, Pille said: “I look forward to strengthening HKC’s supply chain and driving efficiency to support the company’s long-term vision.”
Ian added: “This new role allows me to further shape HKC’s technical strategy and continue delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.”

In addition, HKC will showcase innovations, including the SecureHub Panel, Wireless Keypad, Solas Outdoor Siren, Video Doorbell and Chime.
