A new office development in the heart of London’s Square Mile – just minutes from St Paul’s – has deployed a comprehensive video surveillance solution from IDIS, helping it meet strict sustainability targets.
The carbon-neutral site, powered by 100% green energy, features biodiverse roof terraces and follows a robust reuse and retention strategy. To complement this approach, Phoenix Trescray delivered an end-to-end IDIS system designed for minimal waste, low operational costs, and long-term adaptability.
The installation includes IDIS 5MP vandal-resistant IR dome cameras with PoE and wide-angle lenses for efficient interior coverage. Externally, a mix of 5MP IR domes and bullet cameras with two-way audio and heaters protects entrances and perimeter areas, including a listed Grade 2 sculpture. Video is managed via the license-free IDIS Center VMS, accessible from staff workstations and displayed on a 2×2 screen in reception.

Jamie Barnfield (right), Senior Sales Director at IDIS Europe, confirmed that future upgrades will include a dedicated control room, AI-powered analytics for automated alerts, and system expansion.
“The plug-and-play nature of IDIS hardware and software meant we could deliver on time and within budget,” Barnfield said. “More importantly, we’re helping our customer meet long-term sustainability goals by reducing waste and ensuring the system can grow and evolve with their needs.”
