Installed by IDIS integration partner SPIE Fire Protection & Security, the system allows staff to manage access and monitor facilities remotely via the IDIS Mobile Plus app, ensuring smooth and secure 24/7 operations.
As part of a global franchise with over 5,200 locations, the 130 Anytime Fitness clubs in the Benelux region require a reliable security solution that aligns with their commitment to member convenience. The latest implementation includes the IDIS Video Intercom (DC-I6216WRX), providing real-time video verification and remote door control, preventing unauthorised access while maintaining a welcoming experience for members. Staff, including physiotherapists and trainers, can identify visitors, communicate remotely, and grant entry without disrupting their activities.
Seamless integration and ease of use
The IDIS end-to-end solution includes 2MP dome and bullet cameras, network video recorders (NVRs), video management software (VMS), and intercom units, all designed for seamless integration. The system’s compatibility reduces installation time and infrastructure costs while enhancing usability. Franchise owner Lars Bijleveld, who operates Anytime Fitness clubs in Dongen and Made, highlighted the benefits of the intercom feature, noting that staff can respond to visitors and grant access from their phones or tablets. The system also facilitates scheduling appointments for prospective members during unstaffed hours.
