IDIS has launched two new additions to its Edge AI Plus Camera range, introducing powerful AI-driven functionality and advanced analytics designed to deliver proactive, efficient surveillance across wide-area and high-security environments.
The new models – the Edge AI Plus 8MP LightMaster IR PTZ (DC-S6883WRA) and the Edge AI Plus 6MP LightMaster IR PTZ (DC-S6683WRA) – combine outstanding image clarity with intelligent automation. Both are NDAA-compliant and feature a 40x optical zoom, electronic image stabilisation and AI auto-tracking, enabling operators to follow people or vehicles seamlessly across multiple scenes.
Powered by the latest generation of the IDIS Deep Learning Engine (IDLA Pro), the cameras introduce four new AI-powered analytics functions: crowd detection, fall detection, and the detection of abandoned or removed objects. These tools enhance real-time situational awareness while supporting faster, more accurate responses to security and safety incidents.

Their Smart UX Controls make real-time tracking simple and intuitive, while advanced attribute recognition enables rapid searches based on gender, age, clothing accessories, vehicle type and colour.
