Milestone at ISC West: AI, Cloud, and the Future of Video

by Geny Caloisi

Milestone Systems is set to showcase its latest innovations at ISC West 2025, marking its 22nd appearance at the industry’s premier event. Taking place in Las Vegas from 31 March to 4 April, the exhibition will see Milestone unveiling an expanded suite of AI-driven analytics and cloud solutions designed to enhance video management capabilities.

For the first time, Milestone’s portfolio will include XProtect, BriefCam, and Arcules, bringing together cutting-edge video management software, AI-powered video analytics, and cloud-based solutions. According to Morten Illum, Chief Revenue Officer at Milestone, this combination enables organisations to integrate all cameras, sensors, and sites into a unified platform, leveraging AI to maximise the value of video data. “This evolution in video technology empowers organisations to extract greater insights and drive more impactful decision-making,” says Illum.

Public safety will also be a key focus at ISC West. Milestone will demonstrate digital evidence management solutions designed to help law enforcement agencies tackle crime more effectively. Tim Palmquist, Vice President of Milestone Systems Americas, highlights the growing reliance on digital evidence in criminal cases. “Nearly every case now involves some form of video or digital data. Secure, reliable video evidence is critical to accelerating investigations and delivering successful outcomes,” he says.

Another highlight will be Milestone’s new hybrid cloud architecture, aimed at providing organisations with greater flexibility in managing their video infrastructure. Rahul Yadav, Milestone’s Chief Technology Officer, explains that the latest Arcules integration allows businesses to merge on-premises and cloud solutions seamlessly. “With our hybrid approach, users can transition to the cloud at their own pace, ensuring adaptability and future-proofing their security infrastructure,” says Yadav.

The expanded Arcules integration will be available as part of the upcoming XProtect R1 release on 18 March.
