Queclink Wireless Solutions has introduced an industrial-grade 5G router designed to enhance connectivity and communication in security operations. The new solution integrates high-speed, low-latency data transfer with advanced security features, ensuring reliable real-time video surveillance and sensor alerts while supporting seamless communication for mobile security teams.
Security providers increasingly require robust networking solutions capable of responding swiftly to potential threats and maintaining uninterrupted connections for remote teams. Vernon Bonser, UK Sales Director at Queclink Wireless Solutions, notes that the company’s latest 5G router is engineered to address these challenges. “Our solution delivers premium quality and distinctive features, ensuring value for money while meeting the demanding connectivity requirements of security applications.”
Leveraging the low latency and increased bandwidth of 5G, the router facilitates simultaneous data transmission across multiple security systems, sensors, and devices. This enables security operators to maintain real-time situational awareness and control over monitored sites. The device is powered by a high-specification Qualcomm CPU chip, previously exclusive to premium routers, offering enhanced processing capabilities that support AI-driven analytics, workforce management, and incident response.
Designed for seamless integration, the router supports Wi-Fi 6, an upgrade from the more common Wi-Fi 5, as well as industry-first Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and RS232/RS485 serial ports. These features allow compatibility with a wider range of IoT devices, cameras, and sensors, facilitating automated alerts and advanced analytics to identify security risks and unauthorised access in real time.
“Our approach has always been to deliver distinctive features that set us apart from competitors,” says Bonser. “This latest networking solution, offering superior capacity, scalability, and security, positions us as a key hardware partner in the market. Showcased at the recent MWC event in Barcelona, it received strong industry interest, particularly for its combination of high functionality, compact design, and cost-effectiveness.”
