Vista has announce the release of the FAST Crimp and Cut Tool as part of the new Essentials range of network infrastructure accessories. The range, which includes patch leads, RJ45 connectors, boots, crimp tools, a patch panel and a cable tester, has been designed to ensure that integrators and installers can benefit from a collection of accessories at a competitive price.
The FAST Crimp and Cut Tool can be used with specially designed pass-through plugs. These allow the cable strands to pass through the plug, allowing visual confirmation of the correct alignment. As such, the tool delivers three advantages over standard crimp tools. There is a reduced time for creating RJ45 connections, a reduced potential for errors in pin connections, and connections can include an integral strain relief boot for added strength.
