Squire will celebrate 245 years of lock-making at this year’s Master Locksmith Association (MLA) Show (stand H1.25), unveiling its SS100 LEV 5 padlock – the first and only padlock to achieve an SR5 rating from the LPCB – and showcasing its inigma smart wireless access control system.
The SS100 LEV 5 builds on Squire’s record for high-performance security, featuring a 20mm boron-hardened steel shackle and 100mm tungsten carbide-infused body, designed to resist angle grinders and secure critical national infrastructure.
Alongside the padlock, Squire’s inigma system offers encrypted, wireless control of connected locks and cylinders. With a Level 3 BSI™ Kitemark for Secure Digital Applications, inigma enables businesses to grant, revoke, and monitor access via mobile, tablet, or desktop, making it suitable for remote sites and sensitive facilities.
John Squire, CEO, said: “From traditional padlocks to smart access, we’ve kept pace with industry innovation while maintaining quality. The SS100 LEV 5 and inigma system show our ongoing commitment to advanced, reliable security solutions.”
