Squire’s Inigma smart wireless access control system has been awarded the highest level of BSI Kitemark certification for Secure Digital Applications (SDA), making it the first system to achieve this standard. The certification confirms that Inigma meets rigorous security and performance benchmarks, following extensive independent testing.
The BSI Kitemark is a widely recognised assurance of quality and reliability, assessing the entire system, from software and firmware to hardware security. Inigma’s ability to secure access without relying on traditional keys offers businesses an effective alternative to conventional locking methods, reducing risks associated with lost or duplicated keys.
John Squire, CEO at Squire, stated, “Achieving level 3 for Secure Digital Applications is a significant milestone, confirming Inigma’s resilience to modern security threats. This certification underscores our commitment to developing secure, user-focused access control solutions.”
Designed to provide secure and flexible access control, Inigma utilises Bluetooth communication, allowing users to manage permissions via an app. It integrates advanced encryption and multi-factor authentication to ensure data security while enabling clear audit trails and real-time access management.
Squire’s long-standing expertise in security underpins Inigma’s development, focusing on protection rather than data collection. Unlike some smart access systems, Inigma does not store personal data, and all transmitted data is encrypted with AES 256 to maintain confidentiality.
Inigma is available across various Squire products, including high-security Stronghold® padlocks and euro cylinders. Its wireless design allows for quick installation without the need for hard wiring, making it a practical solution for businesses seeking secure and adaptable access control.
