Synectics has received LenelS2 factory certification under the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP), confirming compatibility between its Synergy security management software and LenelS2’s OnGuard® access control system.
The certification follows factory testing at LenelS2, validating the functionality of the interface with OnGuard v8.3. The development means that end-users can now integrate access control and surveillance data within a single operational environment, enhancing situational awareness and incident response.
John Marchioli, OAAP product management at LenelS2, commented: “Synectics has completed the required factory testing at LenelS2 to validate the functionality of its interface to the OnGuard system. The interface between Synergy and the OnGuard application creates a unified experience for each of our customers to manage their security needs. We look forward to their continued involvement in the LenelS2 OpenAccess Alliance Program.”
For Synectics, the certification reinforces its commitment to interoperability and system flexibility. “As a business committed to open-architecture design, partnering with leading solution providers like LenelS2 ensures our customers enjoy greater freedom and flexibility when selecting their security and site management systems,” said Sreenath Namelil, Product Manager (Integrations) at Synectics.
The integration allows operators to manage OnGuard access control functions directly through Synergy, linking entry and alarm data with corresponding video. This unified approach is intended to simplify workflows and support faster, evidence-based decision making in control room environments.
