In just over a week, Hikvision will host its Insight Autumn Roadshow. The Roadshow will be an opportunity for visitors to get a first-hand look at the company’s latest products and solutions at an exclusive event.
You can choose from five locations across the UK in London, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds and also Dublin in Ireland.
To spice up the program, the company is organising an ‘Installers Speed Championship’ for the first time ever, in which participants at each location have a chance to win a £100 Screwfix voucher when they participate in the competition.
Additionally, installers who sign up can get a free tool key simply for participating in the program. A grand prize for the final winner will be announced soon.
The exhibition hall will have two championship areas, one of which will be dedicated to each championship. Anytime between 10 am and 2 pm, participants are welcome to join in the event. Turns will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so better register and turn up early.
This year’s competition will be managed and judged on-site by the Hikvision Technical team. Time will be one of the elements of the judging process that will be taken into consideration. There will be a timer for each contestant to keep track of their performance. Nevertheless, there is an installation task requiring the correct installation of the network, so an equal quality measurement must be applied to complete this task.
There is no preparation necessary to get involved in this championship as the installers who participate in it will already be familiar with how to install a system. The question is, can they do it accurately and fast?
