Bosch has introduced the PRA-WCP wall control panel and version 2.0 of the Praesensa Public Address and Voice Alarm (PA/VA) system software, expanding the Praesensa ecosystem. The PRA-WCP wall control panel features a compact, IP-networked design with a 4.5 cm (1.77”) color TFT display and a single-knob rotary/push encoder. This intuitive interface allows easy adjustment of background music volume and audio source selection for specific zones.
System designers can configure minimum and maximum volume settings to meet the needs of each zone. The panel’s support for Unicode characters enables the display of zone names and music channels in various local languages, promoting an inclusive user experience.
Installation is simplified with the PRA-WCP panel’s PoE (Power over Ethernet) capability, allowing easy integration into both EU and US standard wall-mount boxes. Interchangeable front covers in white and black ensure compatibility with various room aesthetics.
For larger installations or areas requiring multiple control points, multiple PRA-WCP panels can operate within a single zone while maintaining synchronised control settings across each TFT display. Enhanced security is provided through PIN-based access, allowing only authorised personnel to control background music settings.
