Gunnebo has moved from bronze in 2024 to a silver EcoVadis rating for 2025, recognising progress in environmental management, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The company says this reflects a maturing sustainability framework, clearer internal processes and more transparent supplier requirements.
Per Hokfelt, Head of Sustainability, notes that EcoVadis offers an evidence-based view of performance, adding that the step up to silver shows how formalising policies and driving daily improvements are taking effect while highlighting areas for future development. The assessment pointed to structured environmental monitoring, consistent health and safety practice and strengthened training around human rights.
Ethical guidance has also been refined, with more defined channels for raising concerns. SVP Sustainability Fredrik Fors says the result creates a stronger platform for long-term progress and supports the drive to embed sustainability into everyday decision-making.
