Abloy UK has expanded its Digital Access Solutions (DAS) team with the appointment of two new specialists, reinforcing its focus on innovation, digital transformation and continued growth across the access control sector.
The move comes as demand for advanced, connected security solutions continues to rise, with Abloy positioning itself to better support customers in specifying and deploying tailored systems across diverse environments.
Darren Keating has joined as Technical Sales Manager for SMARTair, bringing more than 20 years of experience in access control and hospitality security. Having held senior roles within major hospitality organisations, Darren’s expertise will strengthen Abloy’s presence in that market.
“This role aligns perfectly with my experience, and I’m motivated to expand SMARTair’s footprint as a trusted and recognised solution,” he said. “My focus is on delivering value and helping our customers achieve smart, secure and scalable access control.”
In his new position, Darren will support both sales and account management teams while working directly with end users to deliver bespoke access solutions.
Jay Stopes has been appointed Regional Sales Manager for Digital Access Solutions in the Southeast, covering regions including Kent and Sussex. With a background in on-site installation and engineering, Jay brings hands-on expertise in deploying access systems across sectors such as luxury residential, education, and healthcare.
“My focus is always on understanding the client’s specific needs and ensuring they receive the best solution for their environment,” said Jay. “I’m excited to contribute to the growth of Abloy’s digital access portfolio and build lasting relationships with customers across the region.”
