Expanding Smart Automation Market For Risco Installers

by Geny Caloisi
According to RISCO, commercial and residential installers can cost-effectively access the growing smart automation market by using its new integrated security alarm and smart automation solution, ‘RisControl’. With an 8-inch touchscreen, RisControl combines Smart Home, Alarm, Surveillance (Cameras), and Z-Wave smart home devices in one user-friendly interface, providing an exceptional user experience, ease of use, and fully customisable features.

According to Fortune Business Insights, the market will grow by around 20% between 2021 and 2028 as more and more end users seek integrated solutions that combine convenience, energy efficiency, and security.

Installers can gain access to this growing market with RisControl Controller for Alarms and Smart Automation, providing their customers with a professional, easy-to-use, integrated product that requires only a small amount of additional investment over a standalone alarm system.

In In addition to improving users’ quality of life and reducing energy consumption – because facilities like lighting and temperature are deployed precisely according to need – the new product integrates RISCO’s flagship LightSYS+ scalable hybrid intruder alarm system, resulting in a high level of proactive protection.

It also enables smart automation with professional security as the bedrock of its functionality, allowing installers to offer customers a professional solution fully differentiated from that available in the DIY market.

Installers can easily integrate the RisControl Controller for Alarm and Smart Automation with their customers’ existing Z-Wave automation devices, regardless of their brand. The RisControl combined controller and user keypad is connected to LightSYS+ via RISCO Bus, the most flexible wiring topology on the market, enabling installers to make time and material savings of up to 75% on projects.

RISCO’s UK and Ireland managing director, Mark Taylor, said, “RISCO is committed to catering for the evolving requirements of professional and accredited installers. The new solution was developed in response to direct customer communication.

“It will enable them to revolutionise their businesses. The solution will grant them access to the lucrative smart automation market via the cost-effective installation of integrated solutions that enable them to make their customers’ lives safer, simpler and more energy-efficient – whilst maintaining the most stringent levels of security available.”

With RisControl and iRISCO app, residential and commercial end users can easily manage security, video and smart automation remotely. Up to 128 scenes can be customised without a PC with the intuitive rules engine. RISCO solutions now benefit from Alexa integration, so users can easily control them using voice commands.
In addition, RisControl will also be supplied as a standalone smart automation controller independent of the security system and can connect to RISCO Cloud in situations where wireless systems are installed.

Webinars on 13th and 20th June will enable installers to learn more about the new solution and how it can enable them to efficiently and cost-effectively access the smart automation business.
