Exploring Critical AI Applications at CNI Security Group Day

by Geny Caloisi

The CNI Security Group will host its next event, Is AI the Future of Security?, on Wednesday, 26 February, at Guildhall London. Starting at 10:00 am, the event will delve into the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the security sector, featuring real-world case studies and discussions on cutting-edge applications.

Attendees will gain insights from leading experts, including Pauline Norstrom FRSA, CEO of Anekanta®AI and Non-Executive Director at BSIA, and Andy Schofield, CTO at Reliance and Chair of BSIA’s AI & Biometrics Special Interest Group. These speakers will offer diverse perspectives on AI’s potential in securing Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), highlighting both opportunities and challenges.

The event, organised by the CNI Security Group’s manufacturer members—barox, Nedap, ISM, and Harper Chalice—will showcase fully integrated AI-driven solutions tailored for high-security environments. Guest partners Dallmeier and Commend will also present their expertise. Exhibits will include advanced technologies such as surveillance cameras, industrial Ethernet switches, analytics tools, access control systems, and perimeter intrusion detection solutions.

“We’re thrilled to spotlight AI, a topic central to designing futureproof, efficient systems that maintain robust security standards,” says Sara Fisher, International Market Development Specialist at barox. “This event offers attendees the chance to learn from real-world experiences of deploying AI in CNI applications, fostering valuable debate on its practical viability.”
