Paxton10 allows administrators to manage the security of multiple sites, spanning cities, countries, and continents. This innovation is being recognised in the Benchmark Innovation Awards 2022, with Paxton10’s Multi-site feature being a finalist for the Network and Connectivity category.
First launched in the UK in 2019, Paxton’s customers today can get their hands on the combined access control and video management system in the U.S., Ireland, France, Germany, Scandinavia, South Africa, and Benelux.
By utilising Paxton10 Cloud Services, it is possible for up to 100 sites to be managed by a single Paxton10 server. To connect the sites via the user-friendly web-based software, an activation code is used to simply identify a Paxton10 controller at the destination site, and the system does the rest. In addition, the system supports up to 1000 doors and 1000 cameras and administrators can add up to 50,000 users without any additional license fees. Paxton’s thoughtfully designed software makes the system continuously scalable and cost-effective.
Jonathan Collett, Product Manager at Paxton, said: “The goal when we developed the Multi-site feature was to make it as simple as possible. Anyone can get to grips with it without specific technical knowledge or equipment set-up, as it’s all in the background.
“With Paxton10 Multi-site, building managers are able to administer across multiple sites from one software platform, this saves them the cost of buying a system per site. The solution also allows timely management as Paxton10 is an intuitive web-based software that can be accessed instantly from anywhere that has an internet connection.”
In response to real-time feedback from installers and end-users, Paxton has been developing and updating Paxton10. This aims to maximise the system’s future potential for expanding businesses with multiple locations, and public buildings such as school clusters and healthcare trusts. As a unique multi-site management system, Paxton10 continues to evolve, driven by the needs of installers and customers.
Enhanced User Experience
The latest version of the software is Paxton10 v4.2. The update increases the system’s security and improves the supporting apps’ functionality.
Enhanced software responsiveness and improved system setup provide a smoother user experience. As a result of a more robust platform, enhanced cloud security is now possible.
Installers and site administrators will experience better remote management and communications with Paxton Connect through more innovative and upgraded app support. Using the Paxton Connect app, the installers and their customers can manage multiple sites remotely from a smartphone or tablet as long as there is an internet connection.
