Brivo and Eagle Eye’s Cloud Security Summit Europe

by Geny Caloisi
Brivo and Eagle Eye Networks hosted the Cloud Security Summit Europe in Amsterdam this summer. The event allowed channel partners to learn about the trends transforming the industry, grow their expertise through an immersive Product Lab experience, and connect with security professionals from across Europe. Our Brivo team also announced the transformation of its Global Reseller Programme, effective as of January 1st, 2025. This will provide partners with a wealth of new resources with access to key data and insights, marketing assets and advanced business management tools.

With 48% of global security professionals believing the industry will be disrupted by AI and automation over the next three years, this year’s Cloud Security Summit Europe explored the future of AI through a number of hands-on educational sessions. Sessions from Brivo and Eagle Eye Networks allowed partners to learn about how AI can transform traditional siloed Video Management Systems (VMS) and access control systems (ACS) into intelligent, proactive security solutions that enhance threat detection and response when integrated together into a single pane of glass.

Our two-day Summit also featured sessions for partners to interact with new products, features and technology partner integrations. This gave resellers, distributors and integrators early exposure to the new solutions that can solve customer challenges and can boost partner revenues. For example, a talk from Brivo and Apple highlighted the business impact of embracing mobile wallet credentials for smooth and secure access control.

The channel-focused summit was followed by a half-day customer event: the Security Executive Forum. This provided support to end-users interested in modernising security stacks as cloud and AI continue to transform the industry. The event featured talks from Brivo’s CEO, Steve Van Till, and COO, John Szczygiel.

Across the three days, we welcomed world-class delegates across an action-packed agenda including:

  • A panel dedicated to the “Hard Hitting Questions from Powerhouse Resellers”, including speakers from Niefra Beveiliging, Balthorne Security Solutions, TPEX International and Force Security.
  • A fireside chat exploring everything from security to tenant experience in real estate, with CBRE Nederland’s Facility Manager, Charlotte Huisman.
  • Dedicated sessions on data privacy for video surveillance, along with the cybersecurity-selling advantages for channel partners working with Brivo and Eagle Eye.

Key takeaways

  1. AI should be embraced by the industry to improve security and effectiveness
  2. The opportunity for industry professionals to connect and network advances our knowledge and elevates all of us.
  3. Expansion in EMEA is a focus and commitment for Brivo as highlighted the reseller program refresh and continued investment.
