Hanwha Techwin announced that it is changing its name to Hanwha Vision as it expands its global vision solution provider offering.
Through this expansion, Hanwha Vision will go beyond its video surveillance products to provide next-generation vision solutions that integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies to deliver insights into customers’ business operations while driving global market innovation.
“By building on our core competitiveness through innovation, we will continue to alleviate our customers’ pain points while adding new value with advanced vision solutions,” said Soon-hong Ahn, President and CEO of Hanwha Vision.
“As we expand our business from surveillance monitoring and post-event analysis, we will provide customised information through big data analytics and actionable solutions that prevent incidents and respond to them in real-time. Our new vision solutions will be instrumental in advancing customers’ operational strategies,” CEO Ahn added.
In line with this business development, Hanwha Vision will gradually rebrand its overseas subsidiaries, products and solutions based on market conditions.
