Axis Communications has launched a new halogen-free thermal camera, the AXIS Q1971-E, designed for reliable detection and verification in any weather or light conditions, making it ideal for perimeter protection. This robust camera offers low carbon emissions, low power consumption, and guarantees privacy as thermal imaging cannot identify individuals.
Using thermal technology, AXIS Q1971-E offers reliable detection and verification 24/7 even in low contrast scenes. It isn’t impacted by weather or light conditions ensuring a lower false alarm rate. Additionally, thermal imaging doesn’t allow for identification, so privacy is always guaranteed. With five lens alternatives available (7 mm, 13 mm, 19 mm, 25 mm, and 35 mm), it delivers optimal detection capabilities to meet specific needs. Thermal palettes make it easier and more efficient to interpret a scene.
Key features include five lens options, electronic image stabilisation for stable videos, and built-in analytics for proactive surveillance with support for AXIS Motion Guard and Perimeter Defender. The camera also has two I/O ports for connecting external devices, enhancing its functionality. Overall, thermal cameras provide cost-effective property protection, covering larger areas with fewer devices while optimising bandwidth and storage needs.
