Risco has released GT Plus, a hybrid security system designed for the UK market and inspired by the GT panel range. It includes an optional ‘Yes/No’ style programming menu structure, which has been central to the existing GT products. Additionally, the new solution comes with a range of communications modules including Wi-Fi, and takes advantage of Risco’s cloud platform, allowing visual verification and a tablet-style touchscreen keypad.
As visual verification becomes integral to the setup of a modern security system, GT Plus has been designed to allow for compatible internal and external PIR camera detectors, as well as the VUpoint IP camera range. Upon detection, the camera is triggered automatically, with snapshots and video clips available to the end user and the monitoring station simultaneously. This can be enabled by an installer using Risco Cloud.
Aesthetics of security systems is important, and GT Plus is available with the option of RisControl, a touchscreen keypad, designed to appeal to consumer-driven demands. Featuring a responsive and high resolution 8 inch touchscreen, RisControl allows users to utilise all keypad functionalities, as well as cloud functions, from one customisable interface.
