Secure Logiq is unveiling its new Logiqal Core Architecture (LCA) at Intersec 2026, introducing a compute and storage platform designed to meet the real-world demands of large-scale video surveillance and AI-enabled security environments.
Developed in response to the growing scale, complexity and data volumes of modern security projects, LCA is engineered to support ultra-high-resolution video, edge-based analytics and rapid access to metadata. The architecture is built to deliver resilience, scalability and efficiency across enterprise and hyperscale deployments, while remaining compatible with all major video management platforms.
At the heart of the platform is Logiqal Core, Secure Logiq’s purpose-built operating system for surveillance workloads. It enables virtualisation, automated failover and intelligent resource optimisation, allowing multiple security applications – including CCTV, access control, PIDS and alarms – to run on a single high-performance server. By consolidating systems in this way, integrators can significantly reduce hardware footprint, simplify system design and lower both CAPEX and OPEX.
System resilience is further strengthened through the use of a secondary management server, providing flexible failover options even where third-party software does not natively support redundancy. This approach supports long-term operational stability while helping to optimise licensing and infrastructure costs.
The storage layer is delivered through Logiqal Video Volume (LVV), a software-defined storage solution optimised specifically for sequential video workloads. By intelligently balancing low-latency memory, SSDs and HDDs, LVV improves performance and archive stability while maintaining cost efficiency. Separating video data from metadata also reduces disk fragmentation and extends drive lifespan, an increasingly important factor in large-scale and analytics-heavy deployments.
Commenting on the launch, Franck Martinaux, Director of Global Services and Innovation at Secure Logiq, said the company is focused entirely on developing storage and compute solutions purpose-built for the security industry, adding that Logiqal Core Architecture brings together performance, resilience and scalability to support the next generation of video and AI-driven security systems.
Logiqal Core Architecture is delivered using standard off-the-shelf hardware, offering faster deployment, lower upfront costs and full in-house support from a UK-based specialist with deep expertise in electronic security.
Secure Logiq is exhibiting at Intersec 2026 on Stand S2 C44.
