ASSA ABLOY has acquired Sargent and Greenleaf, the long-established US manufacturer known for its high-security mechanical and electronic locks and safe hardware.

The move aligns with ASSA ABLOY’s strategy to build its presence in mature markets by adding complementary technologies to its portfolio. Nico Delvaux, President and CEO of ASSA ABLOY, said the addition of Sargent and Greenleaf supports the company’s aim to broaden its core offering.

Lucas Boselli, Executive Vice President and Head of the Americas Division, highlighted the brand’s reputation for innovation and reliability in high-security applications.
