HID Global and Inner Range have joined forces to create the HID Hybrid Signo SIFER Reader, offering unmatched flexibility, security, and interoperability in access control systems. This reader supports over 15 legacy HID formats and integrates Inner Range’s 128-bit AES encrypted SIFER-P format, ensuring secure data transmission and storage. AES encryption is a widely trusted standard, ideal for environments where data confidentiality is critical.
The Hybrid Signo SIFER Reader also incorporates HID’s mobile wallet credentials, compatible with Apple iOS and Android devices, allowing seamless access via smartphones and wearables. Additionally, HID and Inner Range have introduced the Dual Technology ISO SIFER-P / 26 Bit Prox Card, designed to upgrade legacy sites to secure RFID platforms. The card combines 13.56KHz DESFIRE EV3 and 125KHz HID Prox technology, making it an ideal solution for modernising older access control systems while ensuring future compatibility.
